Steve Brannock And Ceci Berman Speak To The Florida Bar’s Local Government Section

Steve Brannock and Ceci Berman presented a seminar on land use appeals at the annual meeting of the Florida Bar’s Local Government Section in Orlando.

Drawing on the firm’s extensive expertise in litigating land use appeals, Steve and Ceci discussed the various ways that local land use decisions, such as zoning variances, conditional use permits, and other forms of comprehensive planning, can be reviewed on appeal.  In discussing the variety of appellate options available, they focused on the sorts of orders that are subject to appeal, the procedures for seeking such review, and the standards of review that apply, depending on the nature of the appeal.
