Celene Humphries Spearheads Discussion on Life and Legacy of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
She was a legal lion, a feminist icon, a trailblazing jurist, a night owl, a theater lover, an avid exerciser, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and so much more. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an inspiration to millions, and three of her former law clerks celebrated all she did for lawyers, citizens, and humanity at a panel discussion moderated by Brannock Humphries & Berman shareholder Celene Humphries.
During the two-hour event, which was simulcast to more than 1,000 lawyers around the country, the panelists explored Justice Ginsburg’s many contributions to society and shared insights into the work and life of one of America’s most influential lawyers. Through prompting from Celene, and through freewheeling conversation, the speakers reminisced on their time as law clerks to Justice Ginsburg, shared stories about Justice Ginsburg’s legendary work ethic, and commented on the lasting impact of Justice Ginsburg’s famous cases and scholarship.
The event took place during the Florida Justice Association’s 36th annual John Romano Workhorse seminar. It was featured as part of the “Remembering Titans” segment of the program.
