Brannock Humphries & Berman Welcomes New Associate

Sarah B. Roberge, a recent law school graduate and former high school English teacher, is the newest member of Brannock Humphries & Berman’s team of appellate attorneys.

Law is a second – third, really – career for Sarah. Her first job after graduating college was teaching English, a role that required strong writing and clear communication – skills any good appellate lawyer needs. When Sarah migrated south to Florida – home of many condominium and homeowners’ associations – she transitioned out of the classroom and into the office, working for a large community association management firm. There, she managed operations for several communities and trained association board members.

Sarah’s work in the HOA industry whet her appetite for the law. While continuing to work part-time, Sarah decided to attend law school, on a full scholarship, where she racked up a stellar resume. She received 14 book awards, graduated in the top 1% of her class, interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Middle District of Florida, and served as an editor on the law review. Upon graduation, Sarah went to work in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit public defender’s office, where she drafted and argued motions, handled evidentiary hearings, and first-chaired a trial only a year removed from law school. She now joins Brannock Humphries & Berman as an associate, putting her diverse professional experiences to work for the firm’s clients.
